My suggestion is that this community should aim to open partially rather than completely to the public online users. Administrors, managers, editors, designers should be called out and put in place. None of commnitiy, such as, forum, BBS, encyclopedia like this one, could survive without well-definied and described conceptions and schedules.
This is my first time coming here and as well as seeing this kind of open university based and easy-to-use, -design, -edit community. It looks interesting and feels like epoch-making and I will keep my ears open for it. I am hoping this open space will make significant progress soon!

Hello, I would like to usurp Syp to make a global SUL-account. My homewiki is hu.wiki. *I have "Syp" as my account in 74 different wikimedia project, and I'm an administrator at the Hungarian Wikipedia. I'd highly appreciate, if now you just renamed Syp at the Chinese Wikipedia and Wikibooks, so I can finish the merging my accounts to the global account.* Thank you in advance! 184.108.40.206 2008年12月6日 (六) 08:49 (UTC)
Maths books in Chinese编辑
你好. To be perfectly honest: 我不说汉语.
I'm currently writing wikibooks over at the English Wikibooks. In order to ensure that my books have as great an audience as possible, I'm attempting to learn the Chinese language. Unfortunately, even though I only learn the simplified characters, this seems to be fairly difficult to me, to such an extent that I can't even form simple sentences. Also, I know very few characters. I'd like to ask two questions:
- Is the Chinese edition of Wikibooks currently blocked by the Chinese great firewall? If so, could one request an unblock somewhere?
- Is there any source from which I could learn those characters that are needed in mathematics? --Mathmensch (留言) 2019年3月3日 (日) 16:00 (UTC)
